The company Cisalpino was owned 50% by SBB and 50% by FS and ran ETR 470 tilting trains to and from Italy between 1993 - 2009, from 2005 also conventional long-distance trains. In late 2009 Cisalpino stopped running trains, and the 9 ETR 470 train sets were divided between SBB and FS with sets no. 002, 003, 005 and 009 going to SBB.
