| The Swiss Federal Railways are officially known as SBB CFF FFS, meaning "Swiss Federal Railways" in the 3 main languages German, French and Italian. SBB means Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (German), CFF means Chemins de Fer Fédéraux Suisses (French), and FFS means Ferrovie Federali Svizzere (Italian). To make this page easier to read, I have decided only to use the abbrevation SBB. | |||
