Operates under 15 kV 16 2/3 Hz AC, Bo'Bo'Bo', 7850 kW, 140 km/h, 85 t, 398 kN tractive effort, built from 1972. Designed for hauling heavy passenger and freight trains on the Gotthard line, today only used on freight trains, normally together with an Re 4/4 II, this combination often called Re 10/10.
