The brewing process is: Mashing where the malt is mixed with water and raised to ca. 65 degrees C. During the mashing sugar is extracted from the malt. "straining" where the water and the malt is separated. This is done in a "lauter tun". The water with the sugars extracted from the malt is called worth. The worth is boiled and during the boil hops are added to give taste and bitternes. The beer is fermented and stored in large tanks. Beechwood is added for extra flavour.
